Technology Commercialization

Lantos Technologies is a spinout from MIT with an innovating imaging technology for capturing 3-dimensional data of inner ear canals.  This data is intended to be used for creating custom-fit hearing aids and other ear fitting devices.

We have been collaborating with Lantos even before they have been an official company.  We are their mechanical engineering partner for developing the scanning instrument.  Our role is integrating all optical and electrical subsystems into a mechanical package that also meets aesthetic and ergonomic requirements.

We have built several iterations of functional prototypes with Lantos, and we continue refining the system toward a production solution.
