Jay Zignego

Mechanical Engineer

Jay is project engineer at Boston Device focusing on R&D, prototyping and testing. Jay’s experience includes the development of inexpensive solutions for respiratory support in developing nations, and the design of spinal prosthetics for the treatment of adolescent scoliosis He has extensive experience using design and analysis tools including Solidworks, Labview, high-speed imaging, and rapid prototyping to build and test concepts quickly.

Prior to his time at Boston Device Development, Jay was an engineer at Seattle Children’s Hospital. Jay holds a B.S. in bioengineering from the University of Washington.
