Prototyping & Verification

PrototypingBuilding functional and effective prototypes means more than simply printing parts.  A knowledge of fabrication methods, materials and assembly methods is essential in engineering robust prototypes that facilitate learning and iteration.  We leverage a wide range of processes, such as CNC machining, rapid injection molding, and additive printing (SLA, SLS, FDM).  Additionally, we maintain a wide range of assembly tools in-house, such as UV curing, electronics soldering, and precision mechanical assembly tools and our engineering team is adept in building prototypes and breadboards.

VerificationPrototypes are only as useful as the information that is able to be extracted.  As part of our quality system, we conduct inspections on all sourced and custom components.  We develop verification protocols and quantifiably evaluate each of the related design inputs.  The results of this verification become integral parts of the design history file and serve as a foothold for subsequent design iteration.
